Internet Content Rating Association If you have children using the Internet then you need to visit this site! The Internet is full of dangers for children but most parents do not know this. The common misconception is that the Internet is mostly good but in reality it is not. This site gives you practical advice and tools on how to control Internet access and minimise your exposure to pornographic, violent and other such questionable material that is FREELY available on the internet. Many pornographic sites use domain names that sound like children's websites so that you can innocently search something that you think is a children's website but then get bombarded with pornographic pop-ups and malicious scripts that hijack your browser. masud.co.uk also recommends using the Mozilla browser which allows you to turn off pop-ups, malicious scripts and allows you to block images from specified sites. It also has a neat "tabbed browsing" feature that allows you to open multiple websites in one browser window. I very rarely use any other browser.
